Origin LD Fins

Long before technical diving was a concept, Cressi revolutionised the world of scuba diving with the introduction of the Rondine Commando fins. Launched in 1950 for the U.S. Military Underwater Demolition Team, today’s Origin LD fins carry forward this historic legacy with a modern technical upgrade.

Made from a single, low-density material that is exceptionally abrasion-resistant, the Origin LD fins are neutrally buoyant, ideal for anyone diving in wetsuits and using medium-to-lightweight equipment.

The compact vented blade is short and wide, creating a very powerful forward thrust while minimising drag. Whether using flutter kicks, frog kicks or helicopter turns, the Origin LD fins provide superb responsiveness and precision, which is why they continue to be a trusted choice for advanced divers.

The ergonomic foot pocket is paired with self-adjusting spring-loaded straps with wide loop grips that are easy to use, even when wearing thick gloves. The angled buckle system keeps the strap in an optimal position over the heel, and a simple pin design allows the straps to be easily replaced.

Two attachment points, one at the tip of the blade and one on the heel pad, allow users to clip off their fins while accessing the dive site and during vertical storage.
